- The following meetings are announced:

Fall Meeting Deer River Post 2720 Oct. 8 & 9, 2011
Winter Meeting Duluth Post 137 Feb. 11 & 12, 2012
Loyalty Days Gilbert Post 4456 April 27-29, 2012
Note: It is the Post Commanders responsibility to attend at least one District meeting and insure at least one post member be at the rest of the meetings.
- Membership! Membership! Let's get going on Membership now don't wait for the snow to fly.
- Posts are reminded to submit required reports as soon as Possible so the District can achieve 100%. These reports include Post Audit Report, Community Service Report and Poppy Report.
- Posts are reminded that the following contributions are due in Department Headquarters: Dept. Hospital Recreation Fund $50.00, Camper Fund $10.00 and if, you have a club, the Club Permit is $60.00.
- Don't forget to order your Poppies early, this helps the Department get an idea how many Poppies they will need and will make the District 100% early.
- Posts are reminded to send Donations for Vets on the Lake to the District Quartermaster so they can be used for the District Cabin #27. Gambling Donations should be sent to Vets on the Lake marked for Cabin #27.
- The Commanders project for this year is the Iron Range Veterans Memorial in Virginia. They are a non-profit 501-C organization. Basically the funds for the statue are in place, but they need funds for additional black stones for the Iraq and Afghanistan wars. If you use gambling funds make the check out to them but please send it to the District QM so we can keep track of the project. If using post funds, please make check out the District QM and mark it CMDRs project.
- Due to decline in membership the District Hospitality room is in need of contributions. Any post wishing to donate to the Hospitality room, please send them to the District Quartermaster.
- Post and Club inspections will be starting soon. Please have everything ready for the inspector. The inspector is a volunteer so please don't waste his time.
